Atelier is the brainchild of Pixel Symphony and Æther, two eclectic artists whose paths converged in the vibrant landscape of Silicon Valley, California. 

 

Atelier, which translates to ‘studio’ or ‘workshop’ in French, is more than just a name; it's a testament to our commitment to craftsmanship and artistic exploration. Our principles revolve around community, curation, and inclusivity, creating a nurturing environment for artists to refine their practice and engage in constructive conversation with their peers. In a world where generative art has become quite abundant, we embrace purposeful randomness, encourage thoughtfulness in conceptualization, and celebrate a depth and diversity of thought susceptible to the creation of deeply original, concept-rich artwork. 

 

As artists and collectors ourselves, we are attuned to the ever-evolving facets of the generative art marketplace and also engaged in conversations pertaining to the breadth of possibility of the code-based medium. This places us in a strong position to identify themes and trends in the space and to invite artists to deepen their explorations in specific thematic and stylistic directions. In other words, we create carefully thought out containers in which our collective members can thrive. The end result being that we are able to organize thematic group shows which allow for the very best artistic expression of the collective, our fundamental belief being that as a collective, we are more than the sum of our parts.
